About the role:

Seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of progressive, successful experience in the Elevator business, to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and market penetration within the assigned market segment by effectively selling company products and/or related services and securing new business accounts/customers.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Achieve sale targets set by the Regional Manager
• Constantly conduct visits to dients, contractors, and consultants and provide them with the latest information about various products that Mitsubishi provides.
• Secure and generate opportunities and projects with possible prospects.
• Advise Elevator Managers in matters concerning the preparation and submission of specifications, traffic analysis, and design to clients and consultants and ensure that specifications are being followed.
• Ensure coordinating with the Engineering Department on how drawings should be prepared and submitted for approval.
• Assist in obtaining approvals for specifications and drawings.
• Check with managers when preparing contracts and get their input.
• Update the knowledge related to projects by reading various manuals, catalogues, and other available material received from Mitsubishi.
• Assemble and maintain records on competitors such as range of products, strengths, weaknesses,  and pricing structure etc...
• Develop and conduct a yearly market intelligence survey.
• Develop estimates according to specifications needed by clients, preparation of quotations, product presentation, discussion and negotiations in finalization of order.
• Prepare submittal and discuss  it with client and/or contractor.
• Present clients and contractors of secured projects the Finance & Accounting Department as well as providing assistance when it comes to the collection of payments.
• Conduct periodical visits to clients with whom we are working with to ensure proper hand-over and prospect for future possible projects.
• Follow all relevant Region Sales Section's policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within Mitsubishi.

Profile:

• The ideal applicant must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or sales related field.
• Total 3 years of sales experience in elevator industries.
• Applicants must possess strong systems skills, solid negotiating and analytical skills, effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must be computer literate with good understanding of MS Office.
• Dynamic personality, being a Sales Representative the person will have to work and maintain relationships with a variety of different people.
• Arabic & English speaker.

About the role:

To monitor the overall safety procedures in the company/project; which includes ensuring equipment safety and uniform's compliance, follow up with injury occurrences and investigates their causes as well as handling all security issues.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepare emergency plans and ensure their implementation as per the company's policies and procedures.
•  Prepare safety regulations and guiding signs.
• Prepare summary report of Safety Patrol and Barricade Information of each region and coordinate to responsible line manager if deviations with Mitsubishi standards are observed.
• Conduct safety Toll Box Talks during site visits and ensure safety instructions are cascaded, understood & followed by field technicians. Records to be kept.
• Monitor the overall safety procedures in the company/ Project including equipment safety and professional clothing compliance.
• Conduct periodic maintenance and inspections of the fire extinguishers.
• Monitor sites security and safety.
• Examine potential unsafe working conditions and take corrective action.
• Check first aid kit expiries including welfare facilities condition, and ensure that procedures appropriate to the contract or clients’ requirements are implemented.
• Perform safety inspections.
• Observe crews at work and report lack of discipline in safety precautions, such as failure to use goggles, rubber gloves, and other safety devices.
• Instruct workers in use of safety equipment and safe work methods.
• Conduct inspection with Mitsubishi own facility including rented facility e.g. warehouse, office, accommodations for HSE issues.
• Conducting inspection with Mitsubishi own vehicle including heavy equipment’s e.g. boom truck, forklift etc.
• Identify good HSE practices as well as to find the ways and means, for improvement.
• Coordinate the completion of all corrective actions with line manager resulting from safety patrols.
• Recommend improvements to HSE Department policies, and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results.
• Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into HSE leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
• Have the authority to stop the work if it is deemed that an imminent danger situation/condition is present and the worker/personnel are directly exposed.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across activities in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and responsible environmental behaviours.
• Report on incident and accident occurrences to the concerned parties in order to address current and mitigate future risks.
• Monitor changes to legislation and Mitsubishi activities, and ensure such changes are covered within all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls.
• Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent for HSE Department
• Manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures.
• Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise the team and provide regular feedback on performance.

Profile:

• 3 - 5 years experience in construction/engineering industry
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field.
• IOSH Managing Safely Certified and OSHA 30 Hours Certified in Occupational Safety & Health Training Course in Construction Safety and Health. 
• Certified First Aider from approved institution e.g. Red Crescent, Ministry of Health or by a 3rd party institute.
